Load .Xdefaults without restarting X

There are ample times we want some of our X preferences to change, but not want to restart the X (who wants to lose all that stuff on the screen anyways!). There is a quick way around this. All you need to do is:

$xrdb -load .Xdefaults 

 and all woud be hunky dory.
